A couple of times, after the video glitch, the audio cut out for 30 seconds or so. The closed captions were unaffected.

Perhaps the OP is talking about the once an hour "local" Dish ad break running over into the next segment of the program. I've seen this happen occasionally and it is annoying.

The info screen no longer freezes up when trying to return from one of the "You May Also Like" choices.

No kidding! A few day ago, I was looking at the description of the UK blu-ray release of "Broadchurch", and wondered if I could watch episodes on Dish VOD. The BBC America web site helpfully told me that I could. My Hopper said otherwise. I'm currently downloading episode two on a torrent.

This is a welcome upgrade. The lack of the "new" designation in the results is a big downgrade.

I sure hope this fixes the audio dropouts on local channels. Switching to PCM to minimize them each time I watch local channels is getting old.
