This is the computer that operates the 77 satellite. The floppy drive went out and they can not figure out how to fix it.

How old is the bird on 77? They might be having major problems with it. No signal shows up at all for the 77 bird. It's like it's not there. And if they are moving channels off of 77 it has to have some problems.

Cincinnati locals where on 77 satellite and they just changed it to 61.5 satellite. So 77 must have some major problems. Satellite 77 still does not come in.

Does any one know when Dish will have NASA channel in HD? I was watching CNN and they were showing a rocket launch and in the top right of the screen it showed NASA HD logo.

From what I understand you can not use the 1000.2 for eastern arc. It has to be the 1000.4 dish. The 1000.2 dish is for the western arc. 119,119 and 129 birds. EA is for 72. 77 and 61.5 birds

Is there any plans to replace the bird at 77 since it has problems? I to am on the 1000.4 dish and I get my Cincinnati locals off of the 77 bird. Would it be worth wile to get the 1000.2 dish and then a single dish to point at 77 to get HD locals? Would there be any advantage to doing this?
