What version of software do you have on your 522? Single mode has only become available with recent software upgrades. Does your PiP work?

If you are in single mode and you start recording, simply hit "swap" on your remote to switch to the other tuner. If you are in dual mode, you can set the recording on the 2nd tv and watch the first tv. Also, I believe you can go into the recordplus option and set up the 522 to automatically...

The only thing that stinks about this is that you have to go to the box to switch to single mode instead of having a remote option. Other than that, PiP is great on the 522! (I can't help it...I'm just lazy!)

110 & 119 are consistently around 100, but the 105 is showing a 35. Is 35 normal for this sat? I've been told that the 105 has a lower signal strength, but 35?

What were the results of the check switch? Also, have you tried doing a hard reset? I lost locals on my 522 once, but they came back after the hard reset.

I'd be suprised if it was a tree branch. I have a great line-of-sight, and the dish stands well above any trees (it's mounted on the roof of my house). I believe that signal strength is OK, but I haven't checked it in a while.

Yes, and with both receivers having the same issue, I tend to think that the installer was wrong with his assessment that it is a receiver problem. Hopefully, tweaking the dish is the easy fix to this problem.
