Well, I can start a movie anytime I want. Pause it, rewind it, fast forward,stop it and play it again at a later time where I left off. This is with Charter and the Moxi DVR anyways. I love it, and its free.

Well the DVR is a Moxi which has two tuners both capable of HD and I only have 1 tv so its not a big deal if it can feed two tvs or not. The locals here in Walla Walla arent doing HD yet but I have contacted the stations and the Charter local office and everyone says that everything is signed...

Well, I called to cancel my account today and man did the CSR have a ton of crap to tell me. I told them that I was switching to Charter because they have more HD than them, they have a better DVR and because I am switching, I can get everything they offer HD and DVR included for 70.00 a month...

Though I must admit, I probably will keep just the HDpack with my 811 when i switch until Charter gets TNTHD, same thing if E* some how gets UHD by then.

I just got done reading in Avsforum.com that D* may start ESPN2HD sometime in Feburary on thier 119 bird. They had a copy of a press release saying that D* will be carrying it, but it didn't say when.

On AVSForum.com, it is being reported that Charlie will be talking about Rainbow1 and possibly give a little more details as to what it will be used for.

Also a question about this. I currently have a Dish 500 with a DP Twin lnb and one 811. I have an old Directv dish with single lnb sitting in the garage. Would a DP21 switch allow me to use the directv dish for a wing slot dish??

Could they technically move Rainbow 1 to the 110 or 119 spot and transmit two birds from one spot or is this not legal?

?? I always thought the tuners built into tv's were for OTA and didnt work for satellite/cable because of the encryption. So in his case he would still need an 811 or 921 and could use either the box or the built in tuner for OTA, right? Disregard this post, I misread simplesimons....opps :D
