Is there a way to ID which port you are connected to on a DPH EA 1k2 LNB without accessing the LNB? You used to be able to ID the sat using a SBSM and know if you were on Port 1, 2, etc... Curious if the Hybrid LNB is the same. It would be nice to know if the drop line is connected to Port 1...

Each morning when I turn on my Hopper with Sling it has tuned to HBO2, even though I was not tuned to that channel, nor did I record on it overnight. Is there a way to correct this?

I noticed some of my timers are missing from my Dish Anywhere App. They still show up on the Hopper and they record without fail, but I cannot see them in the Dish Anywhere App or through Dish.com and logging in. I checked the timers and there doesn't seem to be a pattern. Some are PTAT...

I tried every Sony code and even power scanned to get my 6.3 remote to control my Sony STR-DE895. I am putting a 2 first. I have a different Sony stereo in the room and while I'm trying to program the remote the 2nd Sony keeps going on and off. Anyone have any tips for me?

Since getting 4.41 I turned on folders and the remote is very slow (almost unresponsive). Anyone else encounter this?

Will the modulator output work when in single mode? I want to use my 942 as a SD DVR in my BR which does not have component inputs. I'd leave it in dual mode, but then I have to use the UHF remote, rather than my Harmony IR.

You may want to tweak your aiming. A dish 1000 on the west coast should come in fine. Now the east coast on the other hand...

If you're using the RF output than a splitter/combiner is fine. If you're using the sat line to carry the UHF signal then you'd need a pair of diplexers. Sat line into the sat side and the antenna into the VHF/UHF side.

Let's say we do go to media outlets. Outside of the small (very small) percentage of HD nuts like us, who is even going to know or care what HD Lite is? Everybody is stepping on their signal, D*, cable co's. Until a company commits to using better bandwidth for HD, and shows high subscriber...

Well, after a few thousand trouble calls where the customer couldn't figure out simple things like "keep power supply plugged in", "turn TV on" and/or "if the satellites are in the sky, why can't I cut the cables to the receivers and get the signal wirelessly like my laptop" it's kinda...

I never had trouble swapping between 2 HD feeds, it was OTA that could only be in 1 screen. That should not have changed since the 942 has only 1 OTA tuner.

I could have sworn I saw something about StarzHD going off the air due to a lack of subscribers. I could be wrong.

I'd like to see UHD, but we'll probably get the rest of VOOM before anything else.

I agree. Once Dish get's UHD i can finally dump D*s overcompressed HD pak and save $11 a month :D
