$2.99/month?!!?!? Come on!!! If they're going to let crap like this exist then it should at least be free.

I'm bundled and there's good news. You can go direct to DISH Remote Access Login and create a sling.com account and still access this feature. I've been using it for months through the beta program and it's very nice. There are a few things they can stand to improve, but it's a great start.

Just as expected. $700 is a lot up front, but really, if it ends up being able to do everything they say it will, $200 for a lease isn't a bad deal.

I'm not having any problems today on XP using Chrome. I am still waiting for my HD locals to show up in the grid after they were turned on yesterday though. EDIT: No problems with Firefox or IE7 on the same machine either.

Well, I'm not sure when they showed up, but they're there now, including FBN-HD. The last time I checked was around 2 or 3 yesterday afternoon. Only thing that stands out is that the FBN channels don't have a logo yet. I'm guessing the speed may vary, but channels can be expected to show...

Anybody had Fox News HD or Fox Business SD show up in the grid for them yet? I'm not seeing them on mine. There's nothing on these channels that I'm really interested in recording, but I figured it'd be a nice test to see how quickly new channels get added to the sling.com interface.

Would be cool even though I've already got it on the xbox. It's been mentioned in a few other threads, but Hulu support would really be awesome.

The Ciel bird (I forget the number) that's going to 129 is scheduled to launch from the same place and on the same rocket as AMC-14. It was supposed to go up around November or December, but someone here said recently that it had been pushed back to February I believe.

I don't think it'd be hard for them to get this off the ground. HDNet already runs several repeating hours of concerts on Sunday afternoons/nights. They've had some good shows in the past. I usually try and look ahead in the guide to see if there's anything worth recording.

If you're talking HD output from the tv2 home distribution, I'd think that'd be a pretty big deal.

I did this yesterday. My bill will stay the same and now I have the Encore channels that come in the 250 pack. Also, if you're not bundled through your phone company you can get the Cinemax package for $.01/year if you do auto-pay and paperless billing.
