    VERY Common... Had it happen on 3 of my 622s until I upgraded to the 722... Have not had a problem since... Call Dish get a replacement.

    My HDMI port dies on my 622.. I had a replacement sent... It worked for a few days and then it stopped working again... I had it replaced and fought to get a 722. I have never had a problem with a 722 and HDMI.

    I just installed HDTV on a Comcast box last week and it would not do 1,920x1,080 through the component cables until I bought a HDMI cable and then it would do the full resolution. So I do not see this too far away at all.

    I think alot of people who are out of a Cable or DSL area have this problem. I know many people who have at 56K Connection but can only connect around 28.8 due to line noise.
