Hello: Call a service rep for Dish today to have someone come out and look at my receiver. Was told that the vip222 was due out in August. Did not find out if it is only for new subscribers or upgrading customers.

I noticed that that new 211/411 are single receiver boxes. Is dish moving away from the dual tuner receivers? It was always nice to save $5 here and there and it would seem that dual tuner boxes would save money for them on swapouts.

Hello! I have several questions on the new Mpeg4 receivers coming down the line. 1. Will all the new receivers be HD compatable. In other words, are capable of receiving HD if one chooses to subscribe at some point? 2. Are any of these new recieivers "dual" tuner models like the 322, 522 ?

So, it is technically impossible for a receiver to controll 2 HDTV's?? The standard cabling used by Dish can not handle the signal???

Have duel HD tuners that would allow them to be hooked up to two HD tv sets? The old 942 allows for one HD and one SD hookup. Any word on if the new 962 would allow 2 HD hookups? It seems that duel receivers would save dish on the number of units they would have to swap out eventually and...

That is the problem with Dish, if the policy is not to give current subscribers the 942 for $249 and only offer it to new subs then that should be the policy. But, they seem, from time to time and no apparent reason, "break" this rule for "some" customers :mad:

Hello Just had a 522 and 322 receiver installed at my house Monday. The 522 works great on the two TV's connected to it. But, with the 322, only the TV located next to the receiver seems to work. The installers ( who did not even program the remotes!). Said there must be sometime wrong...

I still don't really know what advantages it has over the dish500. Especially if you still need two dishes to pick up all your locals! I am moving my service to a new house in a few weeks. Should I try to get them to install the 1000 :confused:

Hello: Anyone have any experience with this device??? I have dish hooked up to 4 TV's with a 522 and a 322. I would like to add it to a 5th room. But, I don't want to buy another receiver and I can think of no situation where there would be more than 3 tv's being viewed at the same time.

Hello! I have a 4 system dish setup. I have two tv's hooked up to by 522 and I have 2 tv's hooked up to my 322 in two other rooms. All is fine with this but.... I would like to have access to another TV hooked up to this in my home office. I can get a receiver for the "fifth" hookup...

It seems that it would be a better idea to have duel HD tuners were one can hook up two HD sets to the box. Perhaps a idea for the Mpeg4 HDVR later in the fall??? :)
