Yes, that would be ideal. Just change all the SD channels to HD and get rid of the double coverage. I'm sure the SD subscribers wouldn't even notice or care. I have often wondered why they are taking up so much room with two versions of each channel. It's just stupid.

Once again, I apologize for my pessimism; but us Turbo subscibers should not get too excited yet. Just because we get the SD version, does not mean we will get the HD version. Dish already set that example with Fox News. I don't really want Fox News, but I switched to Turbo for HD channels, not SD.

I hate to say it, but us Turbo customers may get stuck with the SD versions while everyone else gets HD. (See all the many, many threads on Fox News HD)

I wouldn't recommend that anyone chat with a csr. I have done this three times so far and each time, they were both rude and unhelpful. I would say just make the change yourself on the new my account site.

They should come move your dish, or install a second dish for free if you sign a new 2-year commitment. That's what they did for me.

Well, they did switch the analog signal off. KXVA on Dish is now just a purple screen. I wonder how long it will take for Dish to get the digital feed? I do get KXVA OTA, but the signal is weak (60's) and drops out often.

My biggest problem was the Sarah Connor Chronicles on Fox. They changed it to Connor Chonicles, and the timer missed it. I only found it because of a post someone made here.
