yes you keep the receiver. You may have to change some timers if your locals change but on the good side anything recorded on the "old" locals will stay on the hard drive until you delete it.

I just turned on 312 HD feed and there is a "HD" logo in the black bars when you turn to 312 SD feed it fills the whole screen. no "HD" in the corner which contradicts what the OP is showing

um no the bars are from a HD (or sd widescreen) program that is not in HD

which totally contradicts what the OP said. If you look at the pic in the 1st post there is clearly a "HD" logo in the corner which hallmark does to the HD feed if the program is not in HD.

One glaring omission of the "rsn channel shuffle" is MSG. They still have "NYALT" and separate channels. I know 638 is the MSG feed for Buffalo Sabres games so dont get why that cant be 634-1.

what is your cutoff date? the dates in question were the 16th-18th so if your month DOESNT start on one of those 3 days then you should be fine
