The problem is that CSN Philly and 4SD are not available on Directv in those local markets. Ask any baseball fan in Philly or San Diego. They do not get to see their local team with EI at any time, on any EI channel or any RSN.:)

It might be a mistake, but because of dual feeds some of these channels should be available. The constant thing with all these games is that the home team feed is on a local channel only: Astros my20 vs. Cubs wgn (should be available on wgn, not a mlbei channel) Nats masn 2 vs. Cards ksdk5...

The most cost effective way would be to call Direct. BB or CC could sell you the HDDVR, but that price is going to be $299. You would have to call Direct anyway to have the dish and multiswitch installed. There might be a cost to run a second line for the DVR in the bedroom.:)

Make sure that when you walk out of CC or BB with those receivers, you have a 5LNB dish waiting at home for you. The new HD is hard to view without it.:)

Actually having no OTA tuners is useless for many people without HD LIL. A single tuner would have some use.:)
