those games are blacked out here in canton 44721...I just gave up on nhln and directv I think I was able to watch the flyers one time but its always been blacked out the rest of the times ive checked.

Depends how much money the BPL people put in the FCC's pocket to look the other way. I have heard about the notching also heard it doesnt work, I support the ARRL who is fighting this mess and I hope it fails. I'm for prety much all new technologies but BPL puts way too much hash out.

Have you ever ordered PPV before? When I used to have D* you would have to call and have them activate it (PPV) the first time before the box would allow remote ordering...if you have not ordered ppv before you may need to just give them a call. I've had to do this even with a phone line hooked...

If it is a tivo box (thats the one I had), the only way you can get those channels to not show up is set up what you get in a custom list, Its a real PITA but because the channel comes and goes the receiver thinks its a new channel every time they switch it back on....I used to have problems...

I have found in the past there was sometimes it would not allow you to change packages on the web (don't know why), but when I would call they would happily do it for me.

I believe you have to order the minimum package (used to be total choice), I dont have D* anymore so I don't know the names of the new packages, but D* is real big on having a minimum package to get any add ons.
