    Installed said it's a no go!!

    Thats what I uses do it when install regular KU dish. I can charge more with the materials and installation fee to cover up the loss time. But if I work with DTV or Dish, mostly will avoid this type of installation and they will not give the installer the loss time if it must to finish the job...

    If you get only 50 on sat meter, that mean you are not lock on any satellite, if you can, use your receiver and a small tv to check the signal while you adjust the signal.

    Thats right, any receiver would work, I use the D10 to installed the slimline 5 LNBF, once set the 110 and get the signal, then adjust the skew for 101 and 119, it only took 5 minutes to get it all, in your case, find the 101 then adjust the rest. But the KA dish is as heavy as the old old metal one meter KU dish, and this dish do not come with the dish supporting bars, so if there wind, rain, snow will definitely add extra strenght...
