I got the Ohio News Network, which became Ohio News Now on 74W, which happened to be the closest sat to my true south.....nothing on that sat now.

I can't get this channel anymore on 79w....no signal. Anyone else lose it? I didn't see any other posts on here about it. I blind scanned it but came up with nothing.

I can't tell you how many times I've done the same thing.... not just with tweaking a dish, but just about anything I'm working on that is giving me problems. All I can say is He hears and answers quickly.

KTEL ( Telemundo ) can be found @ 79W 11904H 2170....all spanish.

There are 3 nets on 110 ku that won't scan in, and they are ITC....I have two of them. What I did was scan the tp, and it only gave me two scrambled channels. I then edited the pids and I got Fox and ABC. CBS is still available, but I don't have a third scrambled channel to edit the pids on...

...or can you move a channel from one tp to another tp?

I know that all the channels that appear in any channel list gets there by scanning the sat, but is it possible to just add a channel manually?

I scanned in 5 channels, v-me, create, pbs and some others on tp 12180 v 30000 sr, with the Coolsat 5k, and there is no sound. Are these channels ac-3? They are listed as sd in the clear. Can someone enlighten me?

You need to go into the antenna setup menu , select the correct LO frequency for your LNB....Linear LNB= 10750...Universal LNB= 9750-10600. Select the sat (Intelsat 805). Go to scan menu and select normal scan or blind scan....make sure the motor setting is set for USALS. Also the proper...

The threshold signal for the Coolsat 5k is right around 63 to 64......the pbs q signal fluctuates to a high of about 68-69, and then for whatever reason ( rain @ transmission site or here ), the q signal drops to @ or below threshold of around 62-63. It has always been on the weak side for me.

Ditto that here on the Mason-Dixon line, Lineboro, MD.
