    Iceberg, that's how I cheat when installing my motor. Makes life a lot easier compared to find true south :-).

    Iceberg, know your feeling. My motor for whatever reason does not want to power (SG2100) up and 0 green light. Cable is fine, tried hooking it up to expressvu to get a signal and everything is fine.

    That's what I missed with my fortec, the ability to nudge east to west etc. Too bad pansat does not have that feature.

    Like any electronic component, heat is generated during use. I would not be overally concerned unless it resides in a poorly ventilated area. If that's the case, improve ventilation but there is no need to turn off every night.

    pansat 2700 with fortec star

    You need to make your pole is plumb sure its plumb and I'm not sure why your are trying to get 4 sats on one dish. From my understanding FTA receivers will not work with DTV sats.

    iceberg, its the cost of getting it up and running...might be a bit high but like you I cannot install a C-band dish. So what good is C-Band for those who cannot have it installed?
