I have a SG2100 that will not respond to anything. I tried resetting it, but the led doesn't even light up any more, nor does it respond to pushing both buttons when powering on the FTA box. Any chance of fixing this thing??

Actually didn't know this laptop came with boot camp, so I installed Vista Business, and I am dual booting, with my Nextorm dvb world usb device working great. Case closed!

Well, maybe this device will not work.... It is labeled as Nextorm, and windows recognizes it as a DVB-s2101 I always assumed they were the same.... I cannot get the software to see it when I use parallels. I can get the driver installed, but the software doesn't seem to see it.

Anyone using a DVB World USB box with a Mac? I have tried it, mainly because hauling the computer out for 4:2:2 feeds is a pain, but I cannot get iTele to show any tuners. I followed the directions, and it says Plus the device, assuming they mean Plug in the device.... Any suggestions?

I have the traxis and have been pleased. I occasionally have hangups on SBS6 but nothing a reset doesn't fix.

Forget blind scan with a card. The Skystar 2.3 card will do it kinda, but not reliable enough for me. I use the DVB World USB box and like it pretty well.

What I did was point the motor due south, then set the elevation on the motor. Got the receiver out to the dish with a small TV then moved the dish until I got signal on a strong transponder on that 97 satellite. I used USALS and I get every satellite with good quality.
