How do I get distant networks HD on ExpressVu? I have my BUD and D* and D* HD which I hate. I had Voom, E* HD, any way o get ExpressVu? Im in Cali.

I get D* Total Choice for $41.99/month, which has 135 channels including locals. PLUS my HD package.

I go thru the sats and channels a couple of times a week and there's nothing much. Oh the glorious backhaul days are missed!

Rephrase - not much "free" programming. Have an old trusty analog GI650i. There's nothing free anymore and no more backhauls, which used to be great. Have D* with HD but like to "fire" up the ole BUD every so often. Just let go os my NBC DNS on BUD because the pic was so lousy. An uplink...

Nothing much channel wise on C Band. Never hooked up my KU. What can I get if I do??

My D* HD sig is great, as usual but just got DNS on C Band. So far (tonight ) it's constant. I seem to remember a year ago when I had it on C Band, it was an average signal/picture back then. It's diff on the uplink as my WCBS is fine.

WCBS is fine but WNBC is laced with horizontal bars and dark. Anyone else seeing this??

Really? I was with CBand PT24 off and on for 10 years and only just cancelled when I got D* HD DNS last year. Now that D* is stopping it, I wonder if I can go back and get my PT 24 from Turnervision....man I long for the old days...glorious CBand!

How will you do that? I had distant networks on my BUD for 10 years but I fogot the programming service. But If I can't get 'em on D* how can I get them on BUD??
