Some stations are using KU band for RTV, but RTV wants them to upgrade to C-band. My point is if your going to pay to upgrade then choose a better channel like MeTV or Antenna TV. Just wait will ME adds star trek, lost in space, batman, etc.......bye bye RTV.

If a station needs to install a C-band then they should dump RTV for MeTV or Antenna TV. RTV is a joke. If the Ku band feed goes dark.........its their funeral. I will be shocked if they shut it off, they need all the viewers they can get.

I am using the old ribbon cable to wire a GBOX. The large wires are the motor, but which other 2 go into the sensor outlets? I have a green, orange, and brown wire, and another set of small red and white wires. Thanks for the help! :)

Thanks guys for the info. I had a friend come over and upon closer inspection the dish isnt worth putting money into. Several of the bolts snapped off due to rust and the pole is in bad shape as well, but its been 15 years so I am going to purchase a new setup so I wont have to worry about...

The satellite is turning fine after some WD40. Is a new LBNF needed or will my old one work? I can get a few channels on my analog receiver from the 1990's. I guess it could not hurt trying it. I can always order another LNBF.

Thanks for the info guys. I sprayed the sucker with WD-40 and now its still stopping with the no pulse error, but if I keep pressing the button the dish moves a few inches each time. I had a really clear picture on one channel. The arm is a superjack xl hb. I will try more of your suggestions...
