    Me-tv goofing up lately?

Personally I never have a problem with this channel. It's not a channel I watch very often, maybe that's why, but the times I do watch it, it always manages to play just fine.

    Which Receiver To Get

If you have that much to spend on a receiver, if it were me, I would spend at least half of that on a MicroHD. That would still leave you 125 or so to purchase another receiver, maybe as a backup, or maybe to see whichone you might like better.

Kijiji, eBay, and Craigslist dishes for you to take a look at

LOL. Brilliant. I can actually see that working, unless the guy is religious or something. But even then it might work, since I don't recall being religious stopping Jimmy Swaggart from doing what he did with those hookers years ago.

What's the best procedure to get tracking optimally again?

I was beginning to think I was losing my mind again, and that maybe I didn't really know how to track a dish afterall, and that i had simply gotten lucky in the past, so now I needed someone to give me a few pointers. But I do know how to track a dish, tho I wouldn't call myself a pro or...

What's the best procedure to get tracking optimally again?

Yes, it is the older GI. And on top of that, the battery has never been changed in it. I only use this thing for a dish mover anymore. Even if I could get a lock on the DCII signals, not much I would watch on there anyway. I'm already familiar with the few feeds one can get using generic tiles...

What's the best procedure to get tracking optimally again?

I just checked after seeing this post. In the LNB type I have C-Band LNBF selected. In the Feedhorn Polarization, Rotated 90 is checked. The few analog channels that remain, they tune in just fine, with a signal of around 92, at least the ones at C4, the shopping channels.

What's the best procedure to get tracking optimally again?

That presents a problem then. Ever since I replaced my older lnbf with the one I have now, I have been unable to get any locks on any DCII signals via the 922, yet this newer lnbf has performed exceptionally better on dvb signals, as compared to the lnbf I replaced it with. What I'm now thinking...

What's the best procedure to get tracking optimally again?

Since we cleared all of that up, the fact Turbosat misunderstood me (it happens to the best at times, no big deal), that it's not logical that the lnbf is getting weak, but that it is logical the lnbf might be drifting, what then usually causes that? Is it something that can be fixed, or is it...

What's the best procedure to get tracking optimally again?

Actually, I've been pondering if in fact the lnbf is getting weak or something. The lnbf is fairly new tho. Probably not even a year old yet. I think it's the 741 model, or something like that. Not certain at the moment without checking. Can they go weak that fast? When I first got this lnbf I...

What's the best procedure to get tracking optimally again?

In the past my 7.5' BUD was tracking pretty much spot on. But because of a couple of bad wind storms recently my dish is no longer tracking like it was. I'm still on the arc and all, just not like before. And no matter what I do, I can't seem to get it back like I previously had it. Currently...

Is 4DTV soon to be 6 feet under?

To me it doesn't look like these things are selling anymore on Ebay, at least not for the high prices they have been. Maybe these sellers will eventually get the clue that nobody is going to pay these ridiculously high prices anymore, then put these up for what they're really worth in this day...

Kijiji, eBay, and Craigslist dishes for you to take a look at

I didn't even see your post before I made mine. I guess I should have had least looked at some of the recent posts first, before I posted.

Kijiji, eBay, and Craigslist dishes for you to take a look at

Can anyone tell anything about this dish by looking at it, and if it's worth messing with? I emailed the person and he seems to think that it's a 6 foot dish. It looks to me that it's fiberglass. Did they even make 6 foot fiberglass dishes? I have no experience with fiberglass dishes, so not...

If You Had to Choose Only One C-Band Satellite/Location

Probably 91W for me, since my fav shows lately are the King of Queens, the Steve Wilkos Show, Cheers, and Becker. I used to flip thru channels a lot. But lately I haven't been doing that as much. And the fact I never watched King of Queens when it was originally airing, these then are like brand...

    922 acting weird again.

I see your point about the batteries. If one were a heavy user and watched tv alot, and continually surfed the skies while watching tv, then my method would def wear out some batteries. Speaking of batteries, the batteries in that remote haven't been changed for ages, and seem to still work just...

    922 acting weird again.

This time it's something it's never done before. The only thing I use the 922 for these days is as a dish mover for dvb signals. Since I never have the 922 hooked up to a video display, the following is the way I usually do things. Let's say I'm at 137W watching something on the S9. Now let's...

    8.5 feet vs 12 feet

Not a good plan it all, at least according to one of my experiences, especially when folks will likely be pointing and laughing at you all the way back home. Not because you have this huge dish on your roof rack, but because this huge dish is ancient technology in their eyes, and no one uses...

    Free Map Master

Again? Heck, C Band has always been interesting, and has never stopped being interesting. :) But if you're meaning 4dtv has become interesting again, then that may very well be true. But I would still prefer to sub to all of the masters like in the good ole days, especially when there were both...

    Help aiming a 10 footer

How exactly is it determined when one has clicked 2 degrees? For example, 99W C band, I can be on the Lesea mux, have a lock light on the S9, then click several clicks either east or west, then still have a lock light. So if I were then wanting to determine how many clicks 2 degrees is on my...

    Craigslist dishes for your perusal

Locally I've only seen one BUD advertised on CL. It was a mesh dish and apparently belonged to this person's father, who had since passed on. I think it was a 7 or 8 footer. The person was asking 300 bucks, but didn't offer a phone number. So I had to email him. The following is what I said to...

    Craigslist dishes for your perusal

I like this one. Now if I can just find a member here who is close to this area, so that they then could go and pick it up for me, then ship it to me in Texas. Something tells me I'm probably not going to find a member like that tho.

Are 4DTV Receivers still in Demand?

From what I can now tell, he's currently bidding on at least 3 4dtvs. I looked at his history, it didn't show any bid retractions in the last 6 months. I wonder what's going to happen if he wins all 3 auctions? And who knows, he may be bidding on more than just those 3 that I noticed.

Are 4DTV Receivers still in Demand?

Hmmm...I'm going to have to research that then, since I never took the time to see if there was some pattern to this.

Are 4DTV Receivers still in Demand?

But why? This boggles my mind. I can't see the logic behind it. What is it about them now that makes them worth that kind of money? Even if one wanted to use it to subscribe to HITS, no way is it worth the price for that. And as far as ITC channels...there couldn't be more than a dozen or so...

Are 4DTV Receivers still in Demand?

I was thinking mainly the price they were up to now..US $380.00. How can one of those be worth that kind of money now? That auction indicates there's 14 bidders currently. Surely I would think out of 14 bidders at least a cpl of them know what they're doing.
