Ref's handed the Pat's the win against the Ravens

Ref's gave the Pat's the win last night against the Ravens.

If it wasn't for the Raven's coach Ryan time out call the Ravens would have been the team in the locker room celebrating. Brady was stopped cold.

Then the next play- a weak penalty against the Ravens in the end zone? Just hand them the Lombardi award and call it over why don't they.

I'm ok if the Pat's go all the way and run the table and win it all. Just do it on the field, straight up, clean. Dominate the opponent like they have been doing it. OK. Just don't hand it to them.

I'm not a Raven fan or a Patriot hater by the way.

I'm just very tired of seeing a Referee change the outcome of a game all too often.

Just an observation of mine, I'm not a Pats fan or Pats hater, but it seems to me (maybe because I'm out here in Calif) that about 90 percent of the country wants the Pats to lose 1 game and not go undefeated. It really seemed like Tony Kornheiser on the MNF crew last night was excited when the Ravens were ahead and looking like they might end the Pats perfect season.

Well I really don't care for St. Tony "father of the year" Dungy or Pay-me-a-ton Manning, but I am not going to begrudge their success with name calling(well maybe a little

Look I agree, I can't stand the Patriots. With that said the only ones to blame for the loss are the Ravens and their Defensive Coordinator. Had the Ravens not called the timeout it would have been game over, but what did the Ravens do after that timeout, they came UNRAVELED.

What was that Timeout for?, Icing the Pats Offense. Gee, it worked as well as the new trend of last second Timeouts to Ice the Kicker, ask the Redskins (the most recent team to bury themselves with it).

I do hope the Pats get beat, but I'm really getting tired of all the talk about the '72 dolphins.

In 1972 it was much easier to go undefeated why; 1) 35 years ago there was no salary cap so teams could load up on talent and KEEP THEM. 2) Fewer Regular season games are fewer opportunities to LOSE, 3) Fewer Games as well as Pre-Season games so players were less likely to get injured.

Don Shula and his fellow players stick is getting very old.

If Baltimore wants to see whom cost them that game, then they had better look into a Mirror. Even after "The Timeout" New England was flagged for a False Start, making an easy 4th and less than 1 yard into a Fourth and about 6. Baltimore should have stopped them, this one is on them not the Ref's.

The Winning Touchdown was ruled a Completion on the field, after seeing the replay, there is no way the ref's were going to reverse that call, and I HATE New England.

Ooh and how about that Perfectly thrown completion made to the Pats secondary at their own Goal line, really whom was Kyle throwing too. There was no Raven even in the Frame of the TV picture, or that Fumble after an Interception and run back to the Pats 30 Yard Line, I was YELLING go down... go down... go down... OOOH NOOOO.

All they needed at that point was a Field Goal and it was game over, maybe there is a reason Baltimore is under .500, they are NOT GOOD. What do BAD teams do, they find and or invent ways to lose, then after the loss they look for something or someone to blame other than themselves.

The only hope now for ending the Pats streak is Pittsburgh. Come on Big BEN.

I agree, plus the ref's didn't cause the interception by Boller, the ref's didn't cause Ed Reed to cough up the interception he got and IMO the Raven's coach is more of an A**hole then Belijerk, actually those are the only two coaches in the league I hate.

It's funny that everyone in the country seems to understand that Tony Dungy is a genuinely good person, except Pats fans, who insist on calling him "St. Tony." You're not the only person I've heard that from. Must be some kind of inferiority complex or something, since you know your coach is... well, I'll let you call him your own name.

As for Peyton, he's been the best player in the league for most of the last 5 years or so - why wouldn't he get paid? Unlike the Pats, the Colts don't need the extra cap room to go out and buy their team.

I completely agree with most of your post - I've already said in this thread that Baltimore is more to blame than any of the calls the refs made or didn't make. And on top of that, their players acted like children when the game was still in doubt - clearly a reflection of the coaching staff.

That being said, I'm not sure what else you could have asked the defense to do. They stopped the Patriots not once (the timeout play) on 4th down, but twice - they had them stopped on the play that was called a false start, too. Stopping the best offense in recent memory three times in a row on 4th down would be hard for anyone to do, not to mention that the Pats are probably better equipped to handle 4th and 6 than they are 4th and 1....

Am I the only one that hates what Dish did to their mobile app?

I thought I would come here and find lots of complaints about the update to the dish anywhere mobile app, but am not seeing any. It used to look just like the desktop webpage. Now you can no longer filter by sports channels or movie channels. Plus that they made it look like a big button telephone and you see fewer channels in the screen which requires more scrolling. Yes I realize you can look at sports then select which sport you want to look at, I just liked being able to see all sporting events in the guide with all other channels being filtered out. Am I alone in the wilderness on this?

I think most are using it on a firestick or other device as an extra receiver, rather than their phone. Just a guess based on how I use it. 99% thru my firestick, 1% phone.

Well, there are a couple involving the Antarctic. "Solitudes", S1 E17 (one of my favorites), Then, "Lost City', S7 E21 and E22. Then, in the SGA pilot, "Rising", S1 E1 and E2, it starts out in the Antarctic for about the first 20 minutes or so.

If I understand your question, O'Neill had the Ancient's knowledge in the "Lost City" two-part episode. That was when Anubis attacked Earth and there was a big battle over Antarctica.

would probably also work well for NHK on 101W and possibly for PBS on 99W. I used one for a while on 30W. Just keep in mind that because it's undersized for those satellites, it might work fine in clear weather but won't have much margin to account for signal degradation during rain/snow

If you can find one, the Shaw / Star Choice 75e ellipticals are great for use on 97, 99, and 101W. They are really just rebranded ChannelMaster 75 cm reflectors and use linear LNBFs by default out of the box.

Everyone else's mileage may vary.

I have read that some have converted this type dish but after giving it a good look, it's the lnb conversion that is the bottleneck. Does anyone have a picture of their attempt to configure the lnb? I watched a video on youtube from the save it for parts guy and he used duct tape! Guess it worked but I'm thinking something a bit more permanent!

Many of us have used a universal LNBF mount (or get creative with L brackets and plumbers tape - perforated metal strapping). Use a few inches of aluminum tube (or a piece of 1x2" lumber) to extend the support arm (replacing the plastic mount used by DirecTV and Dish) to place the LNBF throat opening at the correct distance from the reflector, the correct height and at the correct angle. Nothing magical... simply place the new linear LNBF in the center at the same distance, height and angle as the current combo.

To add: 101W Ku seems to be (one of if not the) strongest for me, and if I only had Ku I definitely want 101W for the music mux, it's robust FEC and strong signal help a lot. I've thought about using a used Dish/DirectTV dish at my Dads to supplement his OTA (mainly for my benefit when I visit

I'm getting fabulous picture on Ch. 148 4k, but zero audio with H713. This is with a recorded show (Notre Dame game). Anyone else have this? Audio is fine on every other channel.

It's a known issue.
For a temporary fix, go into the menu, Audio, and turn Dolby Audio "OFF". You will have PCM stereo audio.

I was able to give the tech ops team some data logs so they could diagnose the problem, and they rolled me back to H708 temporarily. It fixed that issue.

They let me know that they understand what caused the issue, and it will be fixed within a few weeks in a new update.

I guess they will be busy when lots of people start asking for rollbacks to H708 now that you mention that downgrades of software does exist because it will likely fix the OTA Single Tuner and the IR Remote problems in H710-H713.
