If there were ever something worthy of a commercial against cable tv's
claims that satellite reception goes out when it rains, this is it!!

I am sitting down here in northern Broward county Florida watching local OTA
coverage of Hurricane Frances. I am about 25 miles from the Palm Beach
county antennas and about 12 miles from the Dade(Miami) antenna farms. The
strange thing is that I am getting better OTA signals from WPB than Miami
and the storm is actually coming ashore in Palm Beach county now. We are
getting tropical storm force winds and heavy rain and the only problem I'm,
having is intermittent audio breakup. My satellite reception is excellent
for both HD and SD. I am not having Any rain fade at all with my 24"
antenna,
Loving my Voom in South Florida
