Wow...tons of things flying off 77w. They arent even bothering to change things to 21500 8psk when they move them to 61.5 or 72.7w. Can anyone on EA confirm signals on 77w?

Just checked my locals on SAT on 77 in the Paducah DMA - all dead. From the uplink report, they haven't moved us yet. Hopefully there is enough room to make all the moves.

All the latino channels are gone. Davenport, IA locals also dead. I wouldn't hold my breath on them having enough room for all the latino.

Do you have any suggestions on how to negotiate this loss with E* ? (it's the first time I loose several channels with them).

WA is not an option as a building is blocking my LOS.

The other thing is, it seems it's a bad idea to order PPV.

Don't you think it is a bit premature to think about 'negotiating' with Dish over this? That said, it is only locals that are affected for you, so at $5/month for locals, that works out to a bit less than $0.17/day...

I called Dish a couple of hours ago and was told there was a problem with 77, Dish had people working on it. The CSR told me for my trouble (lost locals) he would enroll me in the "HD for life" program free of charge, saving me $10 per month, no up front fee or 2 year committment (subject only to the fact that if i did not continue to pay my bill on time I could lose the "free HD for life" thingie). I thought that was nice of him.

If it were only locals I would completely agree. But I'm on a latino dos package. I actually intend to wait and see how it shapes out from here till Tuesday.
