$10 HBO Ending ?

Now that AT&T owns DirecTV and HBO I've got a feeling that won't be all that will be ending. 
Imagine that is right.
I can't believe that people actually believed that AT&T wouldn't take maximum advantage of the merger that never should have happened.

My page does not say that. Do you have the actual long term promotion or one of the many short term $10 offers?
Lets hope this isn't true or because of the merger. But in the long run this is exactly what can happen. We can't even blame Congress.
Mine was longterm(lifetime) I guess I should plan my funeral for 9/20.
It will be interesting to see what happens when I try to drop the day it expires.

Yep, they've been fighting this battle for over two years and finally won the largest takeover in TV history..............and their first order of business was to end this silly HBO special that DISH has been offering. 
I guess I will go back to only getting HBO if there's a series I want to see. I rarely watch movies on it.
I'm currently getting the HBO Cinemax combo for $5.00 until 10-24. I hope they don't pull it before then.

To be fair it wasn't ever called lifetime. It was (and still is on my account) called a special price. We started to call it lifetime because it had no ending date unlike the normal promotional pricing.
Where is everyone seeing this message in MyDish? I don't see it (yet?)
Are you sure you have the one with no expiration? Did you (or anyone else that shows the ending date) take a limited time offer at some point like the $5 one? Mine is like it always has been shows no ending date. I guess it could be not all accounts have been updated yet.
I've had my $10 deal for at least 3 years without having to renew and got the termination date. good by HBO till GOT comes back!
