1000.4 dish pointing.

So could that be my problem?? Does the receiver differentiate between different dishes?? I knew I had to change settings in DTV according to which LNB's I was using.

Could be. You definitely need to run a check switch anytime you switch LNBs (which have switches built-in) or orbital slots.
