1000.4 Question - Smart Card

I've decided I need to swap from a 1000.2 to a 1000.4 so I can get my locals in HD, especially since I have so many recording conflicts in the fall (most of what we record is locals off OTA).

There is a note that all rcvr's must be G3 card compatible. My new 722k came with no card, and my new card left with my 722. Do I need to get a card sent before I install the dish?

no! the 722k has the g3 built in card

no problem,been installing a ton of 722k's on 1000.4 dishes without external cards
