There are a number of auctions on Fleabay with LNB's boasting the ability to receive 118.7 and 119 on one LNB.

So, knowing that, one would think you could try it on the 129 west satellite.
(Echo5 and White Springs)

Is it possible? Don't forget, on echo 5, there is a lot of FTE activity so there is nothing awful I'm trying to do by picking up Echostar 5. Also, we all know about White Springs as well. So, one LNB for both since they are in the same orbital slot.

Just curious if this would work.

118.7 is KU circular not linear.

What you are talking doing would require a QPH-031 type of LNB that will do linear 11.7-12.2 and circular 12.2-12.7.

118.7, 119, and 129 are all circular sats. the lnb that will do 118.7 and 119 is most likley a 10750 or 10600 lof/h lnb, so it wont work on an oem dish ird, so keep that in mind if you have a sub.

it'll work on a fta ird.
