Anyone know what dish networks long term plans for the muzak audio on 119 are?
And i am wondering what is the absolutey smallest dish that can revcieve these.
I am thiking about making a raido with small dish that i can take to the beach and listen to the music

as to how long they'll be free...only Dish knows.

never really tried anything smaller since there really isnt anything out there unless you make something.

I once used a 12" pan lid. I got signal and was usable where I live so it might work for you? Look for my posting and picture of it.

Yeah, I was gonna say hook up a receiver, point an Lnb towards a plate or something similar and see what you get.

I have the time and the lnb, but no 8" dish. Maybe I'll look around the kitchen for a proper-sized metal bowl... this could get silly. But it sounds fun

It was a 9" that worked for me. Forgot the #s. I think I tried a 6" BUT it did not work.
