148 to 61.5

I recently had a second dish installed. It's directed at the 148 sat. If I want to point it at 61.5, do I simply rotate the dish or do I need to make additional changes?

I want to pick up the east coast feed of CBSHD....

You'll have to change the elevation also. You can get the settings from the setup screen on your receiver.

FYI - You will have to call Dish to activate CBS-HD East.

im one of those lucky ones where the elevation is the same on 148 @ 61.5

I relocated the dish and had no trouble at all. The elevation was a about 3 degrees off what the receiver recommended, but I got it dialed in to 118 on the meter.

It took dish 10 minutes to make sure I really did have it pointed at 61.5 (didn't believe me at first) and 20 minutes or so to get it turned on.
