After both Celtics/Bruins lost in game 7 (priceless) , I am predicting the same for the BOSOX. Oh and maybe even the Patriots LOL

Life is great isn't???

He's an LA fan, can't win anything with out Shaq.

They are just jealous, and both teams were playing hurt and made it so far. The B's looked the most beat they have just four days after the end of the season for the Bruins, three key players disclosed they need surgery. Phil Kessel said at Monday's wrap-up at TD Banknorth Garden that he needs surgery on his left shoulder to repair a torn labrum and rotator cuff. Defenseman Andrew Ference suffered through a bruised hip, hernia and torn groin and will have surgery. And David Krejci will be out 4-6 months following June surgery to repair an injured hip. Additionally, Chuck Kobasew said he was playing with broken ribs and Mark Recchi acknowledged that he had kidney stones removed the night before Game 7, in addition to a rib injury suffered in a hit during Game 4 of the Carolina series.

And the C's are in the same position. Only had 8 guys total for the Orlando series.

Oh well can't win everything every year.

Looking at that, I wonder how they would have fared against Pittsburgh in the Conference Finals.

...keep rubbin' that sh%t in, Bill...go ahead...!protest

I'm going to cut him some slack for talking about the money.

After the heartbreaking playoff exits of the B's and C's, Bill need something to feel good about.

You know that old phrase "glass half-full or glass half-empty?" Well, I think Bill sees the glass half full.

I can understand that people are delighted when their teams do well, but I have never understood why some people gloat over another teams misfortunes.

Unfortunately, it's nothing new here Riff!

Anytime I go anywhere, whether it's Florida, Vegas or even Idaho (yes, Idaho ), my family and I always run into at least one person who gives us crap when they learn we're Boston sports fans.

It's always: "You've been so lucky" or "You're teams are so arrogant" {I'll admit in the Patriots case they have a point ).

Each and every time we walk away laughing. :D

Bill, when they say that your teams are lucky and arrogant, do they remember when the Pats were AWFUL in the early 90s, the Celtics were putrid in the late 90s, the Red Sox couldnt win the big one and the Bruins fell off the radar a few yrs. back?

I would like to think you've earned the right to gloat.

I don't see anything wrong with taking delight in the demise of a rival team. That is what sports is partially about. As a Dodgers fan I love to see the Giants do bad and I know most Giants fans feel the same about the Dodgers (as they should).
