These congressmen are on that committee (and a number of subcommittees probably)... which is who the players would potentially testify in front of... but you suggested should tackle unemployment, etc instead.

The Ravens now lead 27-24 with about 10 minutes left............after trailing 24-6 at the half

Very bad start for the Lions defense. Denver is already at the 17 yard line. Now a 5-yard penalty to bring them back to the 22.

Another perfect example of just because the Bengals "fleeced" the Raiders of 2 possible 1st round picks...that they will draft well. According to Adam Schefter, they had to convince Mike Brown of drafting Ryan Mallet over Andy Daulton.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Brown wanted Arkansas quarterback Ryan Mallett instead of Dalton. Schefter says that offensive coordinator Jay Gruden was "instrumental" in selling Brown on Dalton.

It's no surprise that Brown wanted Mallett. Like the Bengals have done so many other times, they were drawn to first-round prospects who plummeted for reasons unrelated to their on-field abilities.

It's only the first drive,but Tebow looked pretty good.For better or worse,the Broncos are a different team with Tebow at the helm.I think they are more exciting & fun to watch.

Mallett played better than Dalton during the preseason and hasn't been given a opportunity otherwise, I don't really see much of a disparity there.

I agree. Both teams at least on offense look pretty good right now.
