Tebow throws the ball fine when under presure, when running, when not trying to drop back. They have really messed up this guys throwing motion trying to make him a pocket passer. He never threw this bad in the entire time he started at FLA.

I would have to disagree..he threw that ball too hard at Decker, (he has no soft touch), and he is not so accurate on the run....

Really?!! SERIOUSLY??!! You are better than that..Again...you cannot compare college and the NFL. The players are bigger, faster and stronger ... College means NOTHING now.

The size and speed of the players has nothing to do with Tebow not throwing the ball on target. The fact that he spent months and months trying to change the way he throws the ball certainly does. Just watch the passe's he nails. Watch the bullets and strikes he is usually on the run and throwing with that "ugly" motion he is known for. But when you see him step back and try to pass it like a typical NFL guy he over throws or throws it in the dirt.

And THAT is what all his detractors have said is his biggest weakness all along.....unfortunately, it hasn't changed enough for the better, yet.

He is 4-1. Including road wins against 2 divison rivals. Does he still need to change or can he go back to being Tebow?

He STILL needs to make better and more accurate throws for the NFL. You don't agree?

Wouldn't it be nice to win a game by more than 3 or 7 points, and having to come back and win every game?

Absolutely but he does not need to be a drop pack passer and he can go back to his original form. Go watch the film on him at FLA and his passing. He had over 2500 yards pass each season! His accuracy has demished since going through NFL training and he needs to go back to what he was. Where he didnt miss the wide open guys.

As Salsa said, that was against COLLEGE defenses. As much as you guys like to believe it, the SEC IS NOT as good as the NFL. These players are the best of the best. He never went against that before....

Whatever, and however, he needs to improve his passing game.

He does need to improve his passing because there is no way that he'll hold up physically if he continues to run like he does over people.

Again the defense does not matter. Rather its NFL or college the fact he is over throwing people and throwing it in the dirt now, vs NOT doing that in college. The Defense is not making him throw bad.

He was pretty bad for most of the night, as were the receivers dropping passes, and that HORRIBLE playcalling, run up the middle, run, run, punt. And those 2 BAD RUNBACKS on kickoff by Cassius Vaughn....

The defense saved our butts tonight.........VON DOOM!!!

edit - Let me also give props to Britton Colquitt, our punter. He was awesome tonight, made the defenses' job easier, and helped make that pick 6 possible.

And the Jets punter early on with his awesome 13 yard punt to set up a FG for the Broncos.

it does matter that tim is facing defenses in the NFL. but if you want to keep telling yourself there's no difference from college then go right ahead. i've been hoping tebow succeeds since day one. i like him. nice kid. works his ass off. and i do believe he's a good football player.but nothing has lead me to believe he will end up being a franchise QB. and even though sanchez is better than tebow, he's another one that i always had doubts on whether he can be a franchise qb. i sometimes get hammered here when i share my opinion on what i think a rookie qb will turn out to be but damn i'm usually right. the jets will have no choice but to ride this one out. unlike the raiders who wisely cut ties with russell, the jets will probably waste more time with this guy. and if tebow doesn't improve as a QB (not as a runner) he too will not be the future in denver no matter what happens this season. you can't run a consistent offense with his style of a play. and what little he's doing will soon disappear as defenses catch up to what little success he's having on the field.

i hope i'm wrong on the above about tebow.again i'm hoping he succeeds and proves his critics wrong. i just don't see that happening. if he had some of the throwing abilities like lets say of kyle orton then you would really have a pretty good qb. tebow has everything else you want in a qb. great leader, works his ass off and will leave it all on the field.great runner! just not a very good thrower. he's got to improve.the NFL is becoming more and more a passing league. his current style of play will not succeed long term....

His accuracy is worse now, not because of the NFL training, but because the Defenders are much better and faster.
In the NFL the guys that are open, are not WIDE open.
If theres a guy WIDE open in the NFL, you better hit him because the play was blown on the Defensive side.

Excellent post !

Kinda telling about what the Bronco's braintrust still thinks about Tebow. After he scored the winning TD, Elway couldn't even crack a smile. I didn't expect him to be doing cartwheels, but hell, he just led your team to a win and you look like someone told you a friend died...

You caught that too?! He has gutted the team since he has gotten here and it has backfired on Mr. Ed. IF it were because the Donkeys are in my teams division I wouldd really root fo this kid...ESPECIALLY now that Elway went out of his way to NOT put Tebow with a very good offensive team.

What has kept the Broncos in games has been MORE about their very young and improved defense than Tebow himself.
