Hey Jimbo, did you see the beginning of the Phillies/Cardinals game in St Louis last night? Game started at 6PM local time, and there were acres of empty seats...that's because 6PM is too early to start a game!!!

I don't really care about baseball, it's one game out of 162, my point is more about the Stanley Cup finals starting at 6PM local Vancouver and San Jose, time so some guy outside Detroit doesn't complain about missing an hour of sleep at night.

It's not fair to people on the West Coast.

No...in fact, the 6PM outfield sun was causing a minor problem early. It was a nice night...just a little early for the central time zone, in order to fit into ESPN's 7PM Eastern time start.

Again, the point is not about one baseball game. This goes back to Jimbo not caring about poor west-coasters who can't get home in time to see the start of a Western Conference final game, so that eastern time zoners don't lose sleep over it.

Sorry but I would rather miss the first part of a game than the end of a game, so they need to stop playing games so dang late. Especially the 9pm World Series games.

The game is played on the west coast between two west coast teams. Fans of those teams should not have to miss any of the game.

Don't want the Bruins to have a repeat of the Habs series (losing the first two at home).
