Just wondering who out there is a season ticket holder for one of your favorite pro, collage or minor league teams?

What team or teams do you hold tickets for?
How long have you been a season ticket holder?
What has been your best memory?

Figured there may be a few of you out there with how passionate many around here are about their team.

I was a season ticket holder for Mn Duluth hockey (your current NCAA hockey champions) :)

Got season tickets back in 2000 when I moved to Duluth....the infamous 7-28-4 season. But damn we had fun :)
switched to Saturday only games a few years ago when gas got expensive
Cancelled them last year because no money :(

Ive got season tickets to the Chicago White Sox, and to the Beloit Snappers (Class A Twins). I've only had the tickets in my name beginning this year, but they have been in the family for over 50 years. My best memory was being at Buehrle's Perfect game a couple years back. Priceless.

Season ticket holder to UConn Football, since they went I-A.

Favorite memory? Hmmmm - toughie.

GW FG's against WVU this year, USF the year before (in a blizzard!) are up there.

Pittsburgh Steelers season ticket holder since 1989 favorite moment without a doubt was being at and witnessing Super Bowl 43 vs Arizona what a game and being a lifetime Bruce Springsteen fan him performing at the half was the icing on the cake

Since I started the thread I will throw mine out there. I am a new season ticket holder for the Blue Jackets. Since they are for next season my best memories are buying the tickets. It was also nice that it also allowed me to purchase tickets to the 2012 ncaa men's basketball 2nd and 3rd rounds.

Was a season ticket holder for the local UFL team the first season, but they don't sell out and resort to giving away a lot of tickets and they reduced the prices mid-season - made everyone who bought season tickets look stupid. Since I have so many friends who work in the hotel industry I end up just going to games with them for free.

Favorite memory easily was watching the Locos win their first championship. Hope they play the championship game here again.

Best memory?
Well it would be this past season (DUH!) but 2 seasons previously come to mind
2003-2004 season...just a fun season on the ride to the frozen four. Sweeping the hated MN Goofers in 4 games for the 1st time ever. Going to every dollar store in Duluth/Superior/Cloquet and buying every broom they had so we could throw them on the ice after UMD beat the Goofs...
2000-2001 season...just because they were so bad that when they won we didnt know really what to do ;)

gopher football for 5 years
wild for 4 years
twins for 5 years
timberwolves for 3 years
gopher hockey on waiting list

favorite memory yet to come
going to usc for gopher football season opener this year

waitning for vikings to abolish or move

Best Memory is toughy. However here are a couple. One from my youth and the young sabres in 1972 taking on the Big Bad Bruins.

Here is another; the Scary Good OT Playoff Victory in 2006.

Enjoy!

Chicago Bears season ticket holder, tickets were my dads, transferred to me in 1998 when he retired to Florida. Even though I have now also moved asay I have kept the tickets and sell to friends, etc. 2010 was the first year I hadn't been to a game in about 40 years.
Best memory(s), Walter Payton breaking the all time rushing record and the 1985 season.

That had to been awesome. I was a season ticket holder (1973) when a famous running back who unfortunately turned out to be a disgraced, murderer (even though he got off from it - we all know he did it) and now convict in Nevada, O.J. Simpson broke the single season record for rushing and became the first to rush for 2,000 yards (in a 14 games season).
