The problem is, the Pirates have only one pitcher that can match up with anyone and he pitched the WC game. The Cards have a much deeper starting rotation.

Friday's playoff schedule......

Pirates (Cole) at Cardinals (Lynn)- NLDS Game 2- 1:00pm ET (MLB network)
Rays (Moore) at Red Sox (Lester)- ALDS Game 1- 3:00pm ET (TBS)
Dodgers (Greinke) at Braves (Minor)- NLDS Game 2- 6:00pm ET (TBS)
Tigers (Scherzer) at Athletics (Colon)- ALDS Game 1- 9:30pm ET (TBS)

Vinny said he would not do any TV as he felt he would be intruding on the "new" network concept. I am sure tat Fox was licking its chops thinking if him in the booth if the Dodgers made it to the Series.

I find it odd that MLB/TBS/TNT Turner has decided that on the opening Friday night of the MLB Playoffs, NO ONE is scheduled to play in Prime time Friday night, No game starts at 8 pm...

For some reason, the Red Sox/ TB series starts at 3:30, while most are still working.
The Tigrs and A's don't start till 9:30, which could be the 8 pm game, but I understand it starting at 9:30 seeing it's in Oakland.
 
Braves cried about respect but their own fans must not respect them if they can't even sale out a playoff game.

Tigers and Athletics are Prime Time. The only time zone it isn't is the east.

Seeing the EST time zone has the most viewers, you'd have thought ...

Had the stinking yankees been in the playoff they would have been on at 8 regardless.
 
I cannot understand why the Dodgers often have Uribe bunt.

They would have had a better chance of scoring if he swung away.
