What do the Lions have to do to make the playoffs at this point ?

Now, what do they need to have happen to make it ?

They don't handle pressure very well.

GB needs to lose at least one and lions win out ?

And Chicago has to lose out ...

Chicago plays GB, so both of these scenarios cannot play out ...

Lions winning out would be possible IF they hadn't morphed into the Browns.
Lions play the Giants and the Vikings yet.
Bears play Philly and GB
Packers play Pittsburgh and GB

I wonder if the Lions are officially OUT of the playoffs seeing GB and Chicago play one another.

Looks like the Pack would need to lose out and the Bears would have to split thier remaining games, I think.

I'm confident the Lions will win and both Green Bay and Chicago will lose this weekend...only to setup a scenario where the Lions blow the lead in the final minutes of the final game, thus ripping-out Lions fans hearts out our arses. :(

The Lions need to win both games, and hope that either Chicago or Green Bay lose this Sunday. If that happens they need whichever team loses this Sunday to win next Sunday, when the Packers and Bears go head to head. If all that happens the Lions win the North.

If the Lions lose twice to the Vikings this year, they don't DESERVE to get in.

Lions have the tie breakers with Chicago, swept them, they split with GB, so I don't know how that one works.

Green Bay has a tie this year, so they will not finished tied with Chicago or Detroit. Bottom line is this: if the Lions win this week, they will need EITHER Chicago or Green Bay to lose in order to be alive going into week 17. If BOTH the Packers and Bears lose this week (and the Lions win), Detroit will control their own destiny going into week 17. If BOTH the Packers and Bears win this Sunday, the Lions are eliminated (no matter what they do on Sunday).

Thanks Bill !

It doesn't matter if Dallas wins the NFC East. They aren't good enough to beat any of the other NFC winners.
