2013 NFL Clinching Scenarios

It doesn't matter if Dallas wins the NFC East. They aren't good enough to beat any of the other NFC winners.

The Lions probably aren't good enough to beat anyone in the playoffs either, but it would be nice to try.

Lions would be underdogs to any team they would play, if they win thier division.

Not to the Cowboys. They lost to the Lions already this year. Personally I'm hoping the Cowboys miss the playoffs. Maybe, MAYBE, Jerry Jones will finally wake up and see that there is a big problem.

The problem, IMO, is Jones himself. He recently stated that this year was the best GM job he's ever done. Every interview, I get the impression its his way or the highway and there's no inbetween nor comprimise. Also, a recently released player (the name escapes me) stated the Cowboys' room is upset and micromanaged and there was no comradely between players and coaches. The man's definetely a great business man... but considering how the NFL has evolved over the years, its time to pass the torch to someone else.

He's getting up there in age.. so retire Jerry! Sit back, relax and enjoy what you built.

Cheers, K

I didn't realize the Cowboys were close enough to make the playoffs .... then Yes, that would be the only team I could see the Lions being able to beat .

This has been the case in Dallas for MANY years now.

The Bengals need to get their head out of their butt before they end up missing the playoffs all together.

The ironic thing is the Dolphins need a win and need the Chargers to win, but if the Dolphins win, the Chargers are eliminated and have nothing to play for. However, on the bright side, the Chargers are playing the Chiefs who are locked into the #5 spot, and have to play a WC game on the road next weekend. Will be very interesting how all this shakes out.......

Biggest game is the outcome of the Dolphins game.

They lose and a lot of scenarios are opened up.
