Well, I can't say I expected OSU to win but the two teams I wanted in the championship game made it. There were some great games today. Really the only game that wasn't exciting was FSU vs Oregon.

Looks like its Oregon and OSU...... not sure who to pull for. Do I pull for OSU and knowing that VT was the only team to beat them this year lol and let them come into Blacksburg #1 (nice number to take down ya know) or should I pull for Oregon cause I like their offense?

The two offenses are not all that different when they have Barrett in there.
When Jones is in there, I still don't have as much confidence yet.
He's still pretty much a deep threat passing and thats it, not much in the shorter ranges.

Buckeyes could be even more dynamic if they would learn how to run screens ... not sure if Urban ever runs one.

If anything, his trolling lowered Tide support from those of us that are SEC fans. I'm actually shocked that I could actually be happy on any level of a yankee team beating an SEC team.

Either way though, the early success and them hyping of the Miss. teams led to the heady expectations of the SEC West.
You know your in trouble when people are saying your best teams are Ole Miss & Miss St.

Now Ducks and Buckeyes must travel again in 10 days to Dallas.
Only big money can afford two trips within 10 days. Ridiculous.
Get 4 more teams play home with top 4 seeds then plat Naty somewhere.

The 4 teams probably happen within 5 years. Sadly with bowls still in control home games will not happen.

• Top 4 seeds play on campus (week after conference championship games)
• Winners of campus site games advance to 2 semi-finals bowls (as it is now)
• Losers of campus games go to 2 of the New Years Six bowls
• Seeds 9 -12 go to final 2 of the New Years Six bowls

This adds no extra length to the season, as Army-Navy already play the week after the conference championship games, nor does it need any changes to the current bowl system.

First, as a Bama supporter, kudos to the Buckeyes. Although I suspect that the lasting meme from this game will be the thrown headset. Such class shown by Urban Meyer!

Second, why should either team even bother putting defenses on the field next Monday?

Third, it's time for college football to move to a Premier League, encompassing the top FBS-division teams regardless of conference. A promotion/relegation system could be instituted based on PL standings and outcomes of the existing conference seasons.

Fourth, quit screaming about how the schedules impede class attendance. (Thank you, Cardale Jones, for your honesty!) If the college presidents wanted the athletes to be students, they would have done so. Just compensate the players fairly and enjoy the revenue stream.
