It's clock management. If you hurry-up, that's usually 2-4 minutes to go 75-80:yards. But they should have been able to do just enough, especially with the new rules of no clock stoppage for Out-of-Bounds before the 2 minute warning, to run the clock to under two minutes. But you're thinking TD and that's usually enough to go into OT at the worse. But missing the PAT with three minutes was the nail in the coffin.
