IMO, the only law drama worth watching, is the original Perry Mason. It never gets old, had perfect casting, and I love it!I am so sick of law dramas.

Actually, my thought was that you no longer record anything, the DVR is obsolete mostly, you can watch any show you want at any time ... therefore, whether you have New show or not, theres no Rush to see it (Network you pretty much watch when it's on (outside of DVR) so you have to watch it then ... vs On Demand with Streaming ....The parent companies of the Networks own the streaming services, so they helped to destroy themselves.
Personally, I am enjoying this new world of TV, even being retired, there is so much content on, cannot catch up.
So much better then scrolling up and down the channel guide, trying to find something new to watch, which is much worse today.
Not nessasarily ...NCIS: Origins only has a 10 episode season and a new show runner so it's probably toast…
My experience has been quite the opposite lately. I find myself watching a lot of YouTube and reruns on the Roku Channel. Amazon is picking up a bit at the moment, after a rather long dry spell.Personally, I am enjoying this new world of TV, even being retired, there is so much content on, cannot catch up.
So why isn't there like a cable for streaming? That aggregates content from various streamers the way cable (and then sat) aggregated from programmers? So then you'd sub to like various tiers of streamed content, like cable packages, all from 1 provider.Actrually, my thought was that you no longer record anything, the DVR is obsolete mostly, you can watch any show you want at any time ... therefore, whether you have New show or not, theres no Rush to see it (Network you pretty much watch when it's on (outside of DVR) so you have to watch it then ... vs On Demand with Streaming ....
Bruce, I know, I just made my case For Streaming, and I don't dislike Streaming, as long as I have access to what I want/need to watch.
I dislike having to have 6 different Apps (or more) to watch what was on 1 platform ...
That is what the Apple TV Up Next row does. You just add the content you want to watch into the Up Next row and those show up in the Up Next row. Then when the next episode is released it puts it in the Up Next row (unless you haven't watched the older episode). Even after a season ends when the next season is released it will put the first episode of that season in the Up Next row. Works for about all streaming apps except Netflix that refuses to play ball with Apple. So why isn't there like a cable for streaming? I actually prefer it that way, allows for a uninterrupted weekly run. That bites. Moving High Potential and Shifting Gears to midseason to go along with The Rookie and The Rookie: North.
The Closest thing would be You Tube TV or Hulu Live or Directv (streaming)So why isn't there like a cable for streaming? High Potential moving to Summer ???That bites. Moving High Potential and Shifting Gears to midseason to go along with The Rookie and The Rookie: North.
Midseason is January or February.High Potential moving to Summer ???
That SUCKS BIG TIME.
Jan/Feb is the 2nd half of the Fall season ... ?Midseason is January or February.
The TV season is September/October to April/May. The TV midseason is January/February.Jan/Feb is the 2nd half of the Fall season ... ?
Any one show a Date for its return ?
Slightly more useful than "continue watching" as you can add new shows. That is what the Apple TV Up Next row does.
The only issue I have with the Up Next row is it only shows the latest 20 that you have added to it. To see more than that you have to open the Apple TV app and the Continue Watching row shows all of them. When you add new things to Up Next it also adds them to Continue Watching. The one nice thing about the Continue Watching row is if you long press on one of them there is popup menu and one of the entries is "Browse Continue Watching" and when you click on that it brings all of them up into one screen.Slightly more useful than "continue watching" as you can add new shows.
The TV season is September/October to April/May. The TV midseason is January/February.
ABC has renewed High Potential for a third season, expected to premiere in January 2027 as part of the midseason lineup, rather than Fall 2026. The hit procedural faces major creative changes, with new showrunners Nora and Lilla Zuckerman (Poker Face) taking over, while Steve Howey is not expected to return as a series regular.
We didnt like that one. Wife watched a few times and deleted it from the DVR list.NCIS: Origins only has a 10 episode season and a new show runner so it's probably toast…
Yes and it was planned that way. They own all the content so you have to pay to see it! Now a handful of companies own and control it all!.....Looks like the plan worked perfectly?Streaming Killed the Networks
Second season was much better than the first. We didnt like that one. Wife watched a few times and deleted it from the DVR list.
