211k nightly download question

I thought I saw a way to do this a few weeks ago, but now I cant find it. I want to turn off the nightly guide download on my 211k, as its run through my Sage HTPC and I dont need the dish guide. Is there a way to do this? I'm not talking about the inactivity option, thats disabled. But I know I had my 211k running a few weeks ago without the download occuring, and for some reason I enabled it (probably was watching the receiver directly and not thru HTPC) and now I cant seem to disable it.

No way to shut nightly downloads off, you can reset it for any time you want though. Hit Menu; Preferences; Updates.

Yeah I know I can change the time, but it doesnt help me much to do that, as the HTPC is what controls recordings and channel changes (and it cant get around the screensaver). I did read about a manual timer trick that I might try (set a timer for 23hrs, 55 minutes, with the download time in the middle of it) and see what I can do.
