2nd input not working, but onl;y on one transponder

Receiver is "Searching for signal on: Satellite in 2".

So far I have swapped cables. Put both dish inputs into receiver input 1, both worked. Dish/LNB is ok. I have done a reset from the setup menu and reset power.

When I did the swap, both inputs worked for about 3-4 minutes, then problem resumed.

I checked siganl strength and only on transponder 20 is this problem evident. Input 1 shows a strong siganl, while input 2 shows none. Other transponders show both strong or both "no signal".

Is your dish the Phase-III dish (3 satellite dish) or the 18" round 1 satellite dish?

18" round. It's been working fine for the last couple months. Problem just started this morning (possibly last night while I slept)

Problem seems to have remedied itself (after 8 hours). But I am still interested in what the problem was. Anyone else had this experience? I am too addicted to dual channels to go without it now.
