Some areas do outlaw porn in the us

It seems like there are some areas in Ohio that outlaw porn. I once "moved" to Ohio for Cincy locals and some of the porn channels disappeared from the guide. I'm not a Playboy subscriber but I don't think it was one of them - not much different than what you'll find on late night Cinemax IMO.

I just can't fathom that in today's world, with this informative forum and the DIRT team here, that CSR's online or on the phone can be so ignorant or just flat out lie about what is available.

Maybe these promotions either finished or not available for you. Keep in mind that dish promos are not created equal applicable for all subs.

Btw I was able to successfully chat with a csr for 6 month half price offer for hbo & starz. Some had success by phone whereas other with dirt. Try all options.

Same here, except that I am a recent subscriber (less than 2 months). I resumed service after a 1 year absence... before that, I was a Dish customer from 2007 to 2011. During an online chat with CS, I was told that I did not qualify.
