311 Error on my vip722

:eek: I noticed a couple of nights ago when I turned the tv on the message but didn't really pay much attention to it. It was on again yesterday evening and I discovered indeed I had lost all dvr functionality. So I unplugged the box and plugged it back in. Nothing helped. I called Dish. Fortunately I'm on the home protection plan. They're sending me a new one. I've never heard of this type of error before, but apparently it's just the hard drive that's having the problem. The receiver is working fine. I can watch tv - just can't do anything such as pause tv, skip back, or access my recorded content. Anybody else ever see this problem?
 
Try searching DISH is notorious for Hard Drive failures on their DVRs it has improved since the DVR501 but they still lead in failures.:)
