FYI to any of you guys with a 3D display, considering a professional calibration, be wary. Gregg Loewen explained to me yesterday (he is actually on the 3D committee), that they do not even have full standards worked up yet. Be very careful and properly vet a calibrator for a 3D display, at least in these early days.

Hehe. Gregg is great, and if you did not want to use him, he could prob point you to someone else that knows a little about 3D. Ive seen a couple of calibrators, question his 3D method at AVS, one of which is an AVS messiah, whos only a part time calibrator. Funny thing is, who ya gonna listen too? A guy thats on the damn committee, teaches calibration courses for THX, and does 30+ displays a month, or a guy who does it part name and got his fame off AVS...

Lotta misinformation at that site.

A note from a 3D camera manufacturer (Not Sony), with serious double imaging on a TV to turn off florescent lights on shooting or playback and turn brightness on TV. I have only experienced this issue with the one source and that info is from the manufacturer.:D
