However, you might want to consider a more solid motor, such as the
STAB HH120.
Note that its shaft goes up instead of down, so any custom mount you make would need to take that into account.
The fabrication tricks in the above thread are just a treasure of imaginative ideas.
Using the
Moteck H180 to move the dish is another option.
However, to drive the motor, you'd a controller such as an old C-band receiver, or a more modern V-box.
(you'd need to aim the dish down about 22º as explained in the thread below)
Last but not least, if you were to find or build a proper mount, one of the
jackscrews would move the dish just fine.
