I wonder why it has a lower Version # then my previous version?

There was an update to both the iPhone & iPad versions this morning and they have all but made them useless to me. There is now no ability to simply show a list of movies (all or HD) coming on Today or Later, all you have is the Guide view which is clumsy and difficult to view as a table instead of list. VERY disappointing.
