I am located in Dallas, TX and want to get signal from Satellite 50.0W. What size of dish do I need to get that satellite or if I can get it here? I have a 2.5 dish.

Just go to Dishpointer.com and enter your address and it'll tell you everything you can get and the size of dish you'll need.

If I did it right you'll need around a 7 foot dish for that satellite.

Are you looking for C band, or Ku?

Of the dish you have "2.5" what? Ft? M? CM?

I get a good signal from 50w C in Michigan with a 8ft (2.5m) dish.
You should have no problem, your in a stronger signal area than I am.

Last time I looked at Claro Tv it was the only ch in the mux that was ITC.
I think it is still up there somewhere, I'll look for it tonight.

Thank is good news PIXL, So I might need a smaller antenna then. That will work so I don't have to switch or buy a big antenna to switch from 58 to 50.

I re-aimed my dish on 58 over to 118 so I can't look for you. My motorized dish won't go that far east!
But like they said, if its there but scrambled, won't matter how big your dish is.
