starting tomorrow at 1:00 Eastern MLB Net is showing World Series highlights for the World Series each year starting with 1960 (probably the "videotape" ones that use to be out). They are breaking it up with the 20 "greatest" games thing too. Some are 1/2 hour, some are an hour

Schedule
1PM-5PM Thursday
midnight-4:30PM Friday
midnight-4:30PM Saturday
midnight-4:30PM Sunday

2 years are missing (not including this year)...one is a given (94) but the glaring one missing is 79 (Pirates/Orioles "We Are Family" series)

So fire up those DVR's :)

Showing the 1988 WS with Gibson's walk off HR. Not the best game of all time, but probably the best walk off of all time

Kirby in 91 might give it a run for the money ;)
That was good too. But winning it when you are down, instead of tied, by an injured pinch hitter who could barely walk, who was involved in just about every walk off that year, and later gets the NL MVP for the year, gives his the edge.

BTW, Costa's said it was Ross Porter making the radio call for the Dodgers. It was not Porter, it was Drysdale. His call of that HR is in my sig

Ice,

They are showing your Twins now in the 87 WS.

BTW, was Don Baylor in every WS? He was in the 86 WS with the Sox, 87 WS with the Twins, and the 88 WS with the A's. It seems like he was on just about most of the WS teams in the 80s.
