522/622, Whats the difference?

I have a 522 receiver and would like to now what is the difference's between the 522 and the 622? will the 522 have the option to use the USB on the receiver? What other hardware can be connected and used, such as flash or thumb drives and digitel movie cameras? Can the HD be moved to a computer and downloaded? Thanks for any and all info.

ViP622 can receive HD and MPEG-4 transmissions.

Not for external USB storage, which requires USB 2- the 522/625 have USB 1.1 - too slow.

Might try thumb drive with photos on it.

No. Not legally or in accordance with the Dish agreement you agreed to.

Good luck. You might consider moving to the ViP series and going HD.
