Guys, I've misplaced my 522 manual, and need an audio question answered. I currently have the receiver;s audio/video outputs going to my TV through the RCA cables, rather than coax. Anyway I'd like to have the audio also routed to my aux input on my stereo system's amplifier, so I can selectively have addtional speakers for richer sound, and also use headphones occasionally while watching TV late at night, or at times, when the kids are bit noisy in the house. Is this possible ?

thanks

Yes, you can. I originally use the 522 RCA jacks to connect to my receiver and now use the optical output. You will probably want to disable your TV's speakers which means you will have to have the 522, TV, and amplifier all on to hear sound.
